Tianli Energy Achieves Historic Breakthrough in Rotary Kiln Production

To improve the processing quality and speed of rotary kilns, Shandong Tianli Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tianli Energy) has established a second production and processing plant at Jinan Aikeshen Petrochemical Equipment Co., Ltd. Two sets of new P+T welding machines have been installed and promptly put into use for welding the cylinder bodies of projects. Featuring an integrated design for circumferential and straight seam welding, the P+T welding machines are not only applicable for welding conventional materials but also capable of handling various high-performance materials such as titanium and zirconium, which has significantly enhanced the welding quality and efficiency of the company’s cylinder-type equipment.

To accelerate the processing progress of the Zhonghaiya Project and meet the delivery deadline, the company’s leadership team organized the Process and Equipment Department to optimize the cylinder production and processing technology. The new process involves first welding and forming a single cylinder with supporting fixtures, then conducting vertical lathe machining, followed by integral assembly and welding of multiple cylinder sections. This has resolved the bottleneck that the large vertical lathes in the plant could not machine more than two cylinders simultaneously, accelerated the cylinder machining progress, and ensured the subsequent overall assembly schedule of the rotary kilns.

These various measures have fully exerted the production and processing capacity of the new equipment, greatly shortening the processing cycle of rotary kilns. In just three months, a total of eight rotary kilns for two projects were delivered on schedule, achieving a historic breakthrough in “Tianli Speed”.
