Donghua Energy’s 10,000-ton Carbon Fiber Project (E+P): Successful Installation of Drying System Scrubber and 1,000-cubic-meter Silos for Powder Conveying System

On November 28th, good news came again from the site of Donghua Energy (Maoming) 10,000-ton Carbon Fiber Project — the first large-scale equipment, a 20-ton scrubber, was accurately hoisted into place. This hoisting marks the official entry of the project into the equipment installation phase, accelerating the commissioning scheduled for the first half of 2026. With a total length of 18.83 meters, the scrubber is the core equipment of the polymer water washing, drying and pneumatic conveying unit. It features a large volume and offset center of gravity, posing high difficulties and precision requirements for hoisting. Additionally, it needs to pass through the existing steel structure framework of the plant with limited operating space.

By the end of December, multiple 1,000-cubic-meter large silos were also successfully installed, ensuring the milestone progress of the project implementation.
