Tianli Energy was Awarded the Second Prize of the 2024 Qingdao Science and Technology Progress Award.

Recently, the list of winners of the 2024 Qingdao Science and Technology Progress Awards was officially announced. The project “Research and Industrial Application of Key Technologies for High-Efficiency and Energy-Saving Treatment of High-Salt and High-Concentration Organic Wastewater," in which Shandong Tianli Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Tianli Energy”) participated, won the second prize for its outstanding technological innovation and application value.

This award-winning project focused on the technical bottlenecks in the treatment of high-salt, high-concentration, and highly biotoxic industrial wastewater. Through the development of harmless pretreatment technology and high-salt wastewater separation, crystallization, and resource utilization technology, it overcame the problem of degradation of high-concentration organic industrial wastewater, achieving the integration of a complete set of technical equipment and building an industrial demonstration project. Through zero-discharge treatment of high-salt and high-concentration organic wastewater throughout the entire process, it constructed a green treatment model of “treating waste with waste,” providing key technical support for pollution reduction and carbon reduction in the industrial sector. According to authoritative appraisal, the overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level, and some core technologies are in a leading international position. Through demonstration and promotion, it has effectively promoted technological progress in China’s environmental protection technology field. 

Tianli Energy will take this award as an important opportunity to continue to deepen its research in the field of high-efficiency, energy-saving, and environmental protection technology. The next step will be to accelerate the industrialization and market expansion of this award-winning technology, build an industrial ecosystem for the treatment of high-salt and high-concentration organic wastewater, strengthen the transformation and application of scientific research results, and inject new momentum into the implementation of the national pollution reduction and carbon reduction strategy and the promotion of high-quality development of the environmental protection industry.
