Ⅰ. Overview
Vinyl chloride is also recognized as vinyl chloride and has the structural formula H2C=CHCl. Anesthetic, colorless, easy to turn into a liquid and at normal room temperature. Vinyl chloride is made first by heating coke and calcium oxide and then mixing this with water to form acetylene from the previous step. Acetylene and hydrogen chloride react above the surface to give vinyl chloride. Since the catalyst is easily deactivated at high temperatures, the temperature during the reaction is generally controlled at 100-180℃.
2)Balanced oxychlorination method
During balanced oxychlorination, ethylene is divided in two directions: one is immediately chlorinated to make ethylene dichloride and the other is mixed with air and hydrogen chloride and then processed to form ethylene dichloride. After that, ethylene dichloride is broken down to form vinyl chloride. Hydrogen chloride made in the cracking process is sent back to the part where it is oxychlorinated. Ethylene is converted to ethylene chlorohydrin mainly by copper as catalyst and this is done at a temperature of 240℃. Ethylene production of ethylene dichloride and water can be seen when ethylene chlorination and oxychlorination are introduced by chlorine and oxygen.
